Don’t miss special guest speakers and keynote.
This retreat will provide you with tools and an opportunity to refresh and refocus by finding balance and centering your hectic surroundings to make room for your spiritual growth. Silent meditation, prayer and reading scripture are some spiritual practices you will encounter during this retreat. Take this time to quiet yourself, center yourself and focus on your connection to GOD and your relationship with your FWCC community. Walk the labyrinth, sing hymns, explore the garden, engage in silent or community prayer, fellowship and take meals with other members. On Sunday, the retreat continues through the celebration of World Communion Sunday with early morning prayer and meditation, Retreat themed worship service (with a Guest Preacher) and an International themed closing luncheon.
Registration for the Retreat begins in June and closes on September 14, 2019. Registration Forms will be available at the Information Kiosk following service. You can turn them into one of the team members* who will be available in the Atrium or mail it in to the church (729 West 181st Street, New York, NY 10033).
You can attend the full retreat or partial.
