God Talk - Interreligious Engagement: Christianity and Islam -
April 20th 7-8:15PM (note the longer time frame)

Join Seminary Intern Julia Horner for a specialty God Talk. Pulling from her studies in interreligious engagement from Union Theological Seminary, this God Talk will focus on how Christians can continue to learn from and collaborate with other religious communities. We will focus on "The Good Samaritan" scripture, examine religious-based bias and islamophobia in the United States and New York City and discuss how Christian privilege contributes to this form of xenophobia. This God Talk will be a combination of Bible study, discussion, information sharing, and the arts!
