Hispanic Heritage Block Party - Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month; re-introducing NMAC to the catchment; voter registration; and music, activities, and food - internal collaboration opportunity with Local Projects Committee, Social Action Committee and Heritage and Archives Committee) .The benefits of celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with the community is to assist individuals in taking pride in one’s culture by “recognizing the achievements and contributions of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success.” Additionally, the program is designed to promote inclusivity by embracing and lauding the various ethnicities and rich cultures within the Latino community and showing how their unique individuality when harmoniously respected and supported, manifests unity and pride in the collective community.
