Love on the Move Campaign.
What is #Giving Tuesday?
Founded by the team in the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact, #GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that inspires people to take collective action to improve their communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they believe in, and help create a better world.
Please join us #GivingTuesday, December 3, 2019.
What are we doing for #GivingTuesday?
This year, our #GivingTuesday focus is raising funds to help support our Equity and Justice Ministries.
Fort Washington Collegiate Church is a vibrant congregation in Northern Manhattan committed to justice and peace. Our initiative #Loveonthemove is an expression and an invitation for all of us to join a movement of faith and action.
With your donations, we hope to strengthen our support for immigration rights and affordable housing.
There are thousands of people entering the United States seeking asylum, protection or sanctuary. As an Immigrant Welcoming Church, the Fort Washington Collegiate Church, UCC, is involved in supporting people who are entering the United States with little or no resources, including those who are displaced by ecological devastation. Their success cannot be secure without affordable housing and care.
Please visit our website to learn more about our initiatives and to give.
This #GivingTuesday, we have set a goal of raising $5,000 with your help.
A generous donor has offered a matching donation. Would you join us?

Let us remember 2 Corinthians 9:7 – “Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” We should give with a grateful heart so that the work we are doing can continue.
