Worship Events
Baptism
Fort Washington Collegiate Church (FWCC) celebrates the Sacrament of Baptism (for infants, children and adults) on special Sundays, and in conjunction with welcoming new members to the congregation during worship. Contact Rev. Michael Vanacore if you are interested in getting you or your family member baptized.
Confirmation - 13+ years (Co-ed)
Confirmation is affirming your faith commitment to God. Confirmation class meets throughout the year for youth who are interested in deepening their faith and thinking about becoming members of the church. Throughout the class, the group explores Christian faith, theology, ethics, as well as briefly addressing other religious traditions and questions about our human condition.
Funerals & Memorials
Fort Washington Collegiate Church provides end-of-life (funeral and memorial) services to members, immediate family and friends of our faith community. These services remember and celebrate the life of the departed, praise God for the gift of life, and minister to the bereaved.
To make funeral or memorial service arrangements and receive bereavement counseling from one of our ministers, call the church office at (212) 568-4014.
